Thomas M. Fausset, OD, Optometrist Dr. Fausset opened his Santa Barbara practice in 1989. He is an active member of the National and State Optometric Associations, and is past president of the Tri-County Optometric Association, and past president of the Goleta Rotary Club. In our state of the art eye center Dr. Fausset treats eye infections, diseases, and injuries of the eye, as well as poviding pre- and post-operative care for our on-site laser vision correction center (LASIK) and cataract surgeries. Paul J. Dougherty, MD, LASIK Surgeon Dr. Dougherty graduated first in his class from the UCLA School of Medicine and completed his Ophthalmology residency at UCLA's Jules Stein Eye Institute. He is the only Fellowship trained refractive surgeon in the tri-counties. He has performed over 20,000 LASIK surgeries, trains other surgeons, and is regarded as an expert in the field of refractive surgery. Dr. Dougherty serves three counties, with offices in Los Angles, Camarillo and Santa Barbara. Steve Vickery, Licensed OpticianSteve is our ABO/NCLE certified optician, and has worked in nearly all areas of the optical industry since 1986. He helps patients with high-fashion frame selections and educates patients on different lens technologies that will meet their general or specialized visual needs. He also manages our on-site optical lab which allows us to make many prescriptions the same day. So, Steve is our optical expert and he can help you with any questions regarding frames,lenses or contact lenses.
Marie Corral, Insurance/Financial CoordinatorMarie is the friendly voice on our phone. She answers general questions, verifies your insurance coverage, makes appointments and answers all questions regarding insurance and billing issues. When you have a question in this area, Marie is the expert. She's waiting for your call.
Dolores Falcon, Optometric AssitantDolores is our contact lens coordinator and pre-tester. She answers questions regarding pricing, availability, on-line ordering of your contact lenses from our web site, and is in charge of all in-office contact lens orders. Dolores is also one of the friendly faces administering your pre-exam testing. Last, she is fluent in spanish for those in need of this service. Habla Espanol.
Sheah Wagoner, Surgery Coordinator and Frame BuyerSheah is our LASIK and surgery coordinator, medical esthetician, and fashion eyewear buyer. As a licensed Esthetician, she is responsible for scheduling all our surgeries and giving consults on facial consmetics and adverse reactions. She is also trained in hiding scars and blemishes using cosmetics. Last, she is the fashion frame buyer for the practice due to her background in fashion and cosmetics.
